How to Join
Whether you want to be in a society or run a society here on Society Golf its very easy to join us!
To open an account as a new society:
- Go to the homepage from where ever you may be viewing from
- Click or tap the 'Sign Up' button in top bar or in the dropdown menu
- Fill in the information needed to set up a new society
- Once completed click or tap the 'Register' button
- This should take you to step 2 of 3 where you need to select the package size. The package is dependant on the amount of players within your society. As an example our 'Green Package' offers you space for up to 75 players so you will have 74 places left when signup is completed
- Select your needed package and proceed to the next step by tapping or clicking the 'Continue' button to advance to step 3
- Fill in your card details providing the relevant data making sure they are YOURS and/or you have permission to use them
- when completed click or tap the 'Accept & Pay' button which then takes you to a page where we offer a fantastic addition to our site.
- This last page offers you as an owner of an account here on Society Golf the opportunity to use PayPal and their service called PayPal.me. You can take payments completely free from every individual involved in your society without having to give out additional information and remember this is an option and not compulsory because everyone is different! Click or tap 'Continue' to proceed to your newly created dashboard for your society.
To join an existing society:
- Ask an admin user to invite you using our built-in area that is 'Manage Members'. On here you can get someone to invite you using your provided email address alongside your name as this is used to create your profile within your society.
- When invited, check the email inbox of what it was sent to whether it be your junk email or in your inbox as the link in there confirms your account and activates your use of Society Golf within your chosen society.
- Once the link has been activated and you have access to the societies dashboard you can now at this point be assigned an 'Admin User' or just a 'Player User' each user has different rights and access within your societies account on Society Golf.
